Hello! I wanted to introduce myself as I'm providing Boudoir photography with my business here in Bend, Oregon.
This is me! I’m 49… I’m a mother of 3, a grandma, a wife, a photographer, an artist, a sensitive and free-spirited soul.
Going with a “themed” boudoir shoot is fun and a great way to show your personality. Or to honor those that you plan to gift the images.
I chose the outdoors because that’s my happy place. It’s where I prefer to shoot. And lately, I’ve been inspired by the desert. So I chose to go out to the Painted Hills in Eastern Oregon. I went with a rustic theme because I love a good hat, boots, and I’m all about a Pendleton blanket. I chose to have my camera gear in the shots for props because of DAH… it’s been my life for 20 years. So I incorporated my camera, straps, and camera bag.
If you follow me, you’ll know that black and white images are my favorite above all else. So I stayed true to all things black and white.
I also feel most comfortable in black clothing and wear it 90% of the time. So I chose a black lace robe and panties. I think lace is stunning, timeless, and never disappoints.
I’m a conservative person in general, so I wasn't parparticulary eager to show off too much skin; these images fit my personality and comfort zone perfectly.
I appreciate boudoir photography because you can be conservative and covered, fully nude, or a little of both. It’s all beautiful when done tastefully. The images should fit your personality and comfort zone.
These images accurately represent who I am in general and what I love.
The ideas of a themed Boudoir session are endless. But having your photos captured in nature opens up so many possibilities!
This was fun, especially at my age… 3 grown adult children later; so much life experience and imperfections to get out there at my age and do this was super liberating.
I’m glad I did it and that I have these photos to look back on… and remember being out in the desert half-naked with my cameras starting a new journey after 20 years in business as a wedding photographer…it’s exciting; to push my boundaries, inspiring, and fun! Like I mentioned earlier… I’m 49, ladies… if I can do it, so can you.
